CoRE brings together first responders and Florida pipeline, local distribution operators for free pipeline emergency response training

Throughout September and October, Florida’s first responders have the opportunity to attend free Coordinated Response Exercise® (CoRE) sessions to pre-plan for pipeline emergency response. You’ll participate in an incident scenario covering the initial call and assessment, on-scene response, and managing media communications.

Local government and public officials will learn how to recognize, report and respond to suspected pipeline emergencies, and the importance of enforcing Florida’s safe digging law to prevent excavation damage to pipelines.

Each meeting highlights a local pipeline incident scenario, engaging first responders through interaction with pipeline representatives. This training can help you learn the best way to learn how to respond to pipeline incidents.
