Your DIRT makes a difference

All 2022 underground facility damage and near-miss data are due March 31 to be included in the 2022 Annual DIRT Report.

Sunshine 811 members are required to report damages per s.556.105(12)(b).

Your data helps plan targeted education, awareness, and damage prevention initiatives. But in past years, significant data points were reported as unknown (root cause, excavator type, equipment type, and work type).

We encourage all Sunshine 811 members to provide complete damage or near miss information, so we have a better understanding locally and nationwide.

If your company has NO 2022 events to report, please navigate to “Year End Verification” on the DIRT Main Menu and then select “Submission Status.” Check the box indicating “COMPLETED” so we can avoid bothering you with further reminders.
