Sunshine 811 announces the launch of its new Internet Ticket Entry (ITE) Training Program for Exactix
New online ITE training program goes deeper into mapping, difficult mapping examples, 811 process
Exactix is Sunshine 811’s platform excavators use to request and manage locate tickets. It seamlessly ties together the excavator, member operators and Sunshine 811 to provide real-time access to the member responses, tickets, and attachments - all designed to help you manage your projects.
Sunshine 811’s ITE Training Program teaches you how to navigate Exactix to expertly request locate tickets that are accurate and conform to Florida’s laws. The program tracks your progress so you can pick up where you left off. Upon completion, you can print out a completion certificate After completing the training, you can go back and revisit any section for a quick refresher. It’s not just about creating a ticket
This program gives you a better understanding of what happens after you submit your locate ticket, the responsibilities of the person requesting the ticket and an understanding the 811 process.

Who should take the ITE training?
All new ITE users are required to take this training after completing the ITE application. Existing users should also take the training to avoid these common errors:
Requesting an area that is too large.
Renewing tickets when it is not necessary.
Legal responsibilities of requestor to distribute member responses.
